Black Cat Art Services is dedicated to producing high quality, archive standard framing and gilcee prints. We have a wealth of experience and are meticulous in our finishes.

Always mindful of client requirements we offer a personal consultation at the location of your choice.

We are based in rural Norfolk and have a consultant in London at least once every week. We can also travel to other locations with advanced notice.

Our custom frames, are traditionally joined, sanded, stained and finished by hand. From natural wood to stains and rich coloured waxes we can compliment all styles of artwork.
We work closely with the client and consider all aspects of the artwork, the environment where it will be placed and the design of the surroundings.
Black Cat keeps a selection of unique, simple moulding profiles which we craft into frames sympathetic to the subject, to the grain and integrity of the wood.
We are passionate about the quality of our products and have an eye for detail that we take pride in. All our materials are to the highest specifications from PH neutral backboard to the cotton rag archival mount board and UV filtered glass.
We specialise in edition prints for artists and photographers. One off prints for corporations or collectors are also catered for.
On our Epson 11880 printer we can print any size from standard A4 to 150cm wide by 10 metres. We use Epson UltraChrome K3 inks for optimum colour fidelity.
We are happy to explain all jargon that may be daunting to a client new to large format digital printing.
Clients are kept informed at every stage of the project and our integrity is a priority.
Detail and quality defines our approach to printing. No image is released until the client and ourselves are fully satisfied with the result.
Complimenting our printing service we can stretch canvas onto top quality American tulip hardwood stretchers.
We can re-stretch oil or acrylic paintings to give older work a new lease of life.
Consultation is always given before we commence work with the best solution agreed upon.
A professional and expert service is offered using water based Gudy ® adhesive.
Watercolour or photographic papers can be mounted onto 1.5mm aluminium or Kapa® board substrate.
The work can be heat or cold sealed depending on suitability.
We can provide a subframe on the reverse at different depths for hanging and display purposes. All work is undertaken with a full explanation of the process beforehand.
